The main documentation section provides freely accessible Adobe PDF Format downloads of the main Millennium Accounts latest Release Notes, and Helpsheets covering operation of specific features of the system.
The helpsheets are divided into General Procedures (setup and general maintenance), Posting Procedures (client, nominals, journals, billing, etc) and Special Procedures like month-end and year-end, bank reconciliation, posting write-offs, and so forth.
You can read the support policy for the Millennium Accounts solutions, covering Customisation, Installation & Training, Support & Maintenance and information about Terms & Conditions.
This section also details the special support policy terms for our Millennium Solo product.
This resource section
intends to provide solicitors
and legal cashiers with answers to some of the more commonly asked legal
accounting queries, and day-to-day operation of Millennium
Accounts and Millennium Solo.
The documents provided below give instructions and snapshots of the Millennium posting screens showing examples of how to perform a number of different legal accounting procedures.
May we remind you to also look in the product Help pages which we update every time a new version of the product is released, providing release information, new features and upgrade instructions, and additional Help topics.
Please
note our policy is not to produce paper manuals for Millennium
due to the fast rate of changes to these products.
These documents apply also to the Millennium Accounts product included in our combination solutions; Practice Management System (PMS) and Small Practice System (SPS).
Please refer to the separate Case Manager resources section for documentation relating to our Legal Case Management software.
Documents in this section are freely accessible (no login required).

This section provides the support policy for our legal accounting software, and data conversions:-

The application software is installed on the Server. Training is designed to ensure that all users have a sound knowledge of the system.
Staff members are split into groups and comprehensively trained, depending on their specific system requirements.
Training is provided in stages so that you can learn through practical experience, while still having the back-up of our support team.
The number of days allocated to staff training is agreed at the point of sale.
Extra training days can be purchased when new members of staff are employed or if you feel your Practice needs a refresher course for existing staff.
One of the key requirements when choosing a new software system is going to
be comprehensive after sales support.
At OPSIS we pride ourselves on our quick response to your
queries. In addition to this, due to the volume of Millennium
users we can draw on a wealth of knowledge and experience
to logically solve all your queries.
Please see the Home page for quick contact details, or the main Contact Details page for further contact information.
The OPSIS policy is that your Firm receives professional
training from us to ensure that the system, once implemented
will be used effectively.
Installation & Training are booked as soon as an order
is placed to help get you Up & Running as soon as possible.
You will receive copies of our licensing agreements when you purchase SCM, PMS or SPS.
The terms are liable to changes from time to time which we make publicly available on our web site. To view or download up to date terms and conditions please click here.
Minimum System Requirements: Please see the Millennium technical specifications for minimum required hardware and software reqirements. Our software may run on a lower specification but performance might be affected. We do not provide support for systems with a lower specification than detailed.
A detailed set of our Terms & Conditions will be forwarded with the software, once you have placed your order.
Payment is by monthly direct debit, no earlier than 21 days after we post your Millennium Solo package (to allow for your Free 21-day Trial period). Customers have the right to cancel their License Agreement and Direct Debit at any time. Please notify us in writing should you wish to do so. Cancellation means that the customer will no longer have rights to use Millennium Solo and the customer must delete the software permanently from their system.
Installation will be undertaken by the customer, using the easy install routines provided in the Getting Started Manual.
Training will be held at OPSIS offices in Lincolnshire. Each customer is required to attend one session, which is free of charge. Should you prefer training at your own premises, there will be an additional charge to cover any expenses.
Please note, these training sessions will NOT cover initial set-up; it will be assumed that the initial set-up is already completed or will be undertaken by the customer after the training session.
Any additional training will take place at the customer's offices. This service will be charged at the current daily rate.
Telephone and email support for Millennium Solo during normal office hours is available as required provided that training has been undertaken by the person requesting the support.
We will provide a small number of support calls (5 maximum) to those awaiting training.
We reserve the right to refuse support calls on the basis that the necessary training has not been undertaken, or, on the basis that the support provided is becoming a telephonic training session - the Helpdesk Team provide advice and support not telephone training.
If your Firm is currently running any form of computerised bookkeeping, we
are usually able to import this data into OPSIS Millennium.
We have a well-documented and professional procedure in place
to cater for conversions from old software to Millennium Accounts.
This allows you to maintain and update your historical data,
with considerable savings in both reduced time and manpower
that might otherwise be required to re-enter vital information.
The new Millennium system will fit seamlessly into your Practice
- enhancing performance.
To ensure a smooth switchover you will need to understand the information we require and the process we follow. Please contact us for full details of our Conversion Procedure.
